Mediterranean

The best way to create this kind of garden is to first decide whether you want rustic Mediterranean or posh Mediterranean. The difference is really in the layout - rustic is more like a country garden, where as posh follows an Italian courtyard. Both use exotic drought-tolerant plants in big, bright pots. As well as interesting textures of stone and rock to make walls and paving. A key feature not to forget is an area to sit out and eat - vital for entertaining!
