I was out walking this weekend (in a T-Shirt in March!! The weather was beautiful) and much of the woodland we walked through promised to be beautiful Bluebell Woods when the time is right. I have become slightly obsessed with not missing the very narrow opportunity to see the woodland taken over by these beautiful flowers.
When is the best time for seeing Bluebells? The friends I was with seemed to think late-April / early-May but with the mild winter we've had I wondered if this would be any different this year?
I'm going to keep an eye on this site http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bluebellwatch/
Also where are the best Bluebell Woods? I'm in the south-east, but I'm sure we've got a wealth of knowledge of the best places around the country!
